Hello and Shalom everybody, this is Dr. Rivka Whorovitch. I’m very very happy to be here. Mazal Tov, La Coacha for all your wonderful achievements; I’m kvelling with joy for you.

So I know what you’re all thinking, what’s an old yenta going to tell me about the latest gossip…well ladies and gentleman I am Jewish; I see most of these Hollywood kids at Temple or Shabbat dinner. I once met with Adam Sandler after Temple; he’s a good Jew, makes his way out there on occasion. He seemed down and fresh out of inspiration, so I told him a story about my great uncle E.L. Zohan who was the most famous barber in all of Israel. People would travel for weeks from all over just to see him style hair. I said to Adam, if people love what you do, they’ll come from all over to see you and that will inspire you to do your best. I won’t give you the whole megillah, I’m no kibitzer but Adam did send me a nice thank you just a few months ago. Such a sweet boy.

Enough of my rambles for today, I leave you with wise words my grandmother used to say to me, A man comes from the dust and in the dust he will end–and in the meantime it is good to drink a sip of vodka.

Until next time, Shalom!
