Pre-production work is underway in preparation for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - the seventh movie about the young wizard – and prospective stunts were being tested at the Leavesden studios near Watford when the accident happened.
25-year-old Harry Potter stunt double suffered bloodcurdling injuries after a flying sequence went wrong, and the explosion – which was part of the stunt – caused him to plummet to the ground.
Paramedics assume the stuntman might have been paralysed saying, “I can’t feel my legs”. He was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.
It has come as a horrific shock. Everyone is just hoping the young man makes a speedy recovery.
