Popular singer, actress, comedienne and diva to drag queens everywhere, Charo, has made statements that reflect her opinion on Lady Gaga’s new Born This Way song.

During an interview for Good Day New York , Charo said “I see Lady Gaga like Madonna with diarrhea.”

Charo’s remarks is another addition to the mounting criticism that Lady Gaga has copied Madonna’s Express Yourself song.

Although Charo did admit during the interview that Lady Gaga has a unique voice, she also said “Why don’t she go her own self? I never copy nobody!”

Charo has a history of portraying a feisty Spanish singer/dancer, a unique character herself she has exploded into American pop culture with her frequent appearances on The Love Boat and her trademark “cuchi cuchi”.  

Why did Charo decide to use the word “diarrhea”, I am not sure but maybe she saw this video from New York City impersonator Sherry Vine, who parodies Bad Romance with bowel movements.

Despite Charo’s B celebrity status, her criticism of Lady Gaga can be taken seriously among many Lady Gaga fans who before they Just Danced to Gaga where Dancing A Little Bit Closer to Charo.
