In an upcoming Lance Armstrong biography entitled, Lance (written by John WilCOCKson) reveals the reason behind his 2006 Split from Sheryl Crow stating:
“She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn’t want that, but I didn’t want that at that time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I’d just had kids Luke, Grace and Bella” Lance says in the book. Yet we were up against her biological clock — that pressure is what cracked it.”
Sheryl, now 47, is 10 years Armstrong’s senior.
Sheryl eventually adopted a baby boy, Wyatt Steven, in 2008.

I’m very glad they didn’t get married. In this case, age made a difference…He’s obviously immature and “Me” focused and not “We” driven or ready for a second marriage. He needs to deal with his demons from the first marriage, before breaking Sheryl’s heart after marriage. It was a hard break-up for all of us…but Sheryl is better off…long term. If he loved her unconditionally…and wanted was best for her, just as much as what’s best for him, then there would have been a different decision made..Sorry, Sheryl, for the pain Lance caused, but you’re bouncing back…and I’m praying you’ll find the “right” man…someone who will treat you like you’re his “queen.” The only good thing that came out of this is you became a wonderful mother to your adopted child, and that’s special, what you did for her.
so … how did Sheryl expect she could make a baby with an asshole?!! Hey. He can peddle fast, but he is going nowhere - and is better off riding alone. Sheryl, - there are REAL men out there - let one find YOU.

They did the right thing . He got what he need and she got what she needed….
There is nothing wrong with him not wanting more kids. Maybe they took their time to decide for sure. There is nothing wrong with that. Would you have preferred he popped out more that were not truly wanted? Give me a break. I admire him for not bringing a child into the world that he was not truly ready to be a father to. I’m sure it was a difficult choice but was THEIR choice and NOT YOURS. if Sheryl and Lance can handle it with dignity, why the hell can’t you people? Its not your business anyway!

Seriously? Typical FEMALE responses to this article…how can you criticize this man for being an “asshole” and you are being one yourself? You don’t have to bow down to a woman to treat her like a “queen”. He has a career and she does as well. She wanted to persue family life, and he didn’t. It doesn’t make him a bad person. He’s got a family and he’s not wanting to rush anything. Sheryl on the other hand wanted so desperately to have a child that she just HAD to adopt. Nothing wrong with adoption, but it just goes to show her mind was on fulfilling her need of not being lonely, not having a family. If she had TRULY wanted a family, she could have waited for Lance to re-coop. She was quite aware of the situation when she got into it. Pull your heads out of the sand, ladies. And, last time I checked….Lance is QUITE the business man and does a HELL of a lot for cancer and cancer patients. Stop being a bunch of ill informed feminist liberals.
